Look at other schools. Don't be pulled in by the "sales pitch" that I was. It's a small town in the middle of nowhere. You will find that there is little to do after time. Perhaps that is good, but I don't see the time spent studying by fellow classmates.
If you have a desire to learn and not party and do stupid things, and truly get down with schoolwork (not slack), then you may enjoy this school. Don't go in with the attitude that you are free from your parents!

Because of the university needing finances (and, yes, the professors are vocal about it), it is not difficult to enter this school. Farmer Business School, because of generous donations from the Farmer family, is the only school that may be worth attending. I would be wary about taking other majors, because you just are NOT going to have a "unique experience with unique professors" at MU. Outside of the Business school, MU is just another public university.
